Elizabeth attended Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry, graduating with Magna Cum Laude. She has completed two master's degrees; including Master of Science degree in chemistry and biochemistry from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
